Somewhere in early April, hopefully not competing with WSG or Tequp, the Melbourne Joomla! User Group will be staging some 'lightning' presentations on various aspects of Joomla! 1.5 and beyond

Here's a couple of ideas we've just thought up on the fly:

We welcome speakers and presenters from outside the Joomla! community as well, not to mention new and innovative ideas from those inside it.
